Someone entered a vehicle while it was parked on the driveway of a home at The Street in Ubley during the night of Wednesday November the 29th. The vehicle had been left unlocked, allowing easy access for the offender who made an untidy search of the interior. A mobile phone, which had been left on one of the seats, seems to have been the only thing that was stolen. We want to remind drivers to remove all property from their vehicles and to lock them whenever they’re left unattended. Leaving items on view and not locking them will encourage thieves to return or break into other vehicles. If you have any information about this incident, especially CCTV images, please call us on 101, giving reference number 5223294775 and ask that the call is tagged as NHW. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. |
