Sudden Cardiac Arrest is unpredictable, it strikes without warning, killing 250 people a day in the UK.
SCA does not discriminate – it can happen to the young, fit and old – anyone, anywhere at any time.
Rural communities and villages are at greater risk when cardiac arrest occurs.
Together with effective CPR, defibrillation is the only way to re-establish the heart’s natural rhythm.
Compton Martin Parish Council recently purchased and installed in front of Ring O’ Bells pub a new Defibrillator. As apart of the Community Awareness we have partnered with HeartSafe to deliver a First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator Awareness Course for residents of Compton Martin.
The Training will take place on 8th February 2023 7pm in Compton Martin Village Hall.
