Annual Harvest Service this Sunday 22nd October – 10:00am

A gentle reminder that it is St Michael’s Annual Harvest Service this Sunday (22nd) at 10:00am, and according to the weather forecast it is going to be a sunny day!

Harvest Thanksgiving Services have been happening in St Michael’s for hundreds of years so it is good to keep the tradition going. The service is ‘Sing and Praise” and will be Lay Led. The service should last no more than 40 minutes and is suitable for all ages. As part of the Harvest tradition you are asked to bring a contribution of either fresh food (fruit and vegetables) or tinned or packet food (soup, cereal, pasta, vegetables, jam, etc.) All the contributions will be taken to the Withywood Food Bank. A huge THANK YOU in advance!

To get things started we are hosting a coffee morning on Saturday 21st October between 9:30 and 11:00am. Come along and enjoy the company of friends and neighbours whilst learning how to make a corn doll!!

We look forward to welcoming you to one or both events celebrating Harvest.
