BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 20th November 2023, Harptree Hill, West Harptree shall be closed to all traffic, in the interests of public safety, to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to undertake drainage improvement works to remove highway flooding. As part of these works Highfield Lane will also be closed to through traffic. Access to Highfield Lane will be maintained for residents only. USRN: 47916909 / USRN: 47902567.
The road will be closed at Harptree Hill, West Harptree from its junction with the A368 extending south west to its junction with Western Lane. Highfield Lane will be closed from its junction with the A368 extending south west to its junction with Nordrach Lane, but the closure shall not apply to any vehicle associated with the works.
Alternative Route: West Harptree Road – B3134 – B3135 – A39 – B3114 – A368 – Vice versa
The closure and diversion will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 20th November 2023 and the road closure is anticipated to be required for 10 days between 09:30 – 15:00hrs. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 14 days.
