Dear Neighbours,
The Village Hall Committee would like to alert our neighbours to new parking signs that will be erected in the Village Hall car park in the coming days.
They will be in place as a reminder that this is a private car park. It is managed by the Village Hall Committee, a team of volunteers who raise financing for any maintenance or repairs as needed. It is therefore essential to regulate its use in order to prevent unnecessary damage or wear. In addition, much of this financing comes from paying clients who hire the hall and car park to host events, so all spaces must be available to these clients when needed.
We are of course delighted to continue to invite those visiting the village hall or adjoining field to use the car park for the duration of their stay. However, all other use including overnight parking is strictly prohibited.
Should anyone wish to make a special request please email the booking secretary through our website. Thank you very much for understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at the hall soon.
Best wishes,
Village Hall Committee
