Bus Updates

We are writing with the good news that the X91 bus has been saved, and will continue after July! We do not have the full details of the operator or exact route (there will be slight changes so that it will go through Dundry and at this stage we are not sure where it will stop for Chew Magna but assume it will) but you can see up to date information on Travel West here: https://travelwest.info/bus/bus-service-changes/
Thank you to everyone who signed the petition and wrote statements to B&NES and WECA. Persistence paid off.
Unfortunately the 99 service will stop in July (it just hasn’t commanded sufficient passenger numbers to continue). Part of the route will be served by a new 101 service from Bishop Sutton to Midsomer Norton and a new 100 service taking a slow route between Bristol and Bath via Bishop Sutton , but again we don’t have the full information about this.
We have asked WECA to please produce paper timetables and maps of all of these services (or ideally one leaflet with all of them on) so watch this space to see if we get our wish! We might need helpers for deliveries so please do let us know if you can help.
Warm wishes
